I really like this ottomanit is looking just as pictured, it is nice and sturdy and it looks very good. the storage is great and the cover of the bench lifts easily. My only complaint is that the little short legs are plastic and they look kind of preferred crappywould they be wood. I'm going to solve this problem by painting them a brassy gold, and the fact that they are plastic is not obvious, but still a bit disappointing.

I was really glad to see that this is an actual piece of furniture rather than just a cloth-covered box. I bought it to the foot of my bed, but until you finish my remodel, is in my den and looks good there too. the Interior is spacious and functional. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. the lining is very neutral, leaning more towards taupe compared beside palomino of tan. I would recommend this for additional storage or other seating.

My husband and I purchased this as a place for guests to sit and take off your shoes. the cubbies are large and easy to reach. the pillow is not super soft and plush, but for us it doesn't need to be to achieve its purpose. the thing just picky that we noticed is the cushion does not link on the bench so when cats jump on it, it slips out. It would be nice to have a tie or some way to keep the pillow on top.
