We purchased this (along with other furniture Shoal Creek) for our son's bedroom. I was leery because of some negative comments about the quality, but decided to try, and I am so happy we did! The furniture looks great in a small bedroom boys, and as for the comments from damage and scratches, no more so than my solid wood furniture that is high-end.
